This 1-to-2-hour tailored session gives an overview of agile principles, methods and benefits, including a walk-through of the Methods for Agile Hardware Development (MAHD) framework. Auxilium consultants developed the MAHD framework as a guide for developers of physical, manufactured products to get the benefits of agile methods while considering the challenges unique to hardware-based product development.
MAHD is a modular approach optimized for hardware-based development, where each element can be tailored for optimizing speed, product quality, efficiency and resources. This session is focused on principles and methods that can enable optimization when applied with intent toward achievable goals. A real-world product development example is used to walk through the MAHD framework for visualization of how MAHD elements can be applied to a project.
